What comes to mind when you think of Nieuw-West? The Sloterplas? The mix of cultures? The urban design? Or the creative talent that quietly flourishes here?

Nieuwelingen brings together 31 artists from Amsterdam Nieuw-West — spanning generations, cultural backgrounds, and artistic disciplines. This second edition takes its cue from the museum's year theme The Sacred Life of Plants, finding unexpected connections between creativity, landscape, and the slow, stubborn way things grow.
